Description

Platycerium willinckii 'Bacteria' is a unique and exotic epiphytic fern, featuring irregular, lobed fronds with rounded tips, resembling bacterial colonies. Its striking, irregular shape and vibrant green color make it a standout among fern enthusiasts and collectors.

Growing condition

Temperature: Ideal temperature range: 10°C – 30°C. Best grown in warm, stable conditions protected from frost.

Water: Use rainwater, distilled water, or RO water where possible. Keep mounting medium lightly moist, allowing it to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid prolonged dryness or waterlogging.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered shade. Too much direct sun may damage fronds, while too little light can reduce growth and vigour.
