Description
Platycerium foong siqi is a rare and unique species of staghorn fern, characterized by its distinctive, rounded shield fronds that are typically sterile, and its narrow, lance-shaped fertile fronds that produce spores. Native to Malaysia, this epiphytic fern grows on tree trunks and branches, with its shield fronds forming a protective basket around the roots, and its fertile fronds extending outward, giving it a striking, antler-like appearance.
Growing condition
Type: Lowland - Intermediate condition, ideal temperature range 15c - 30c.
Water: rain water, distilled water or RO water, tap water in some regions. Allow the media to dry out a bit before watering again.
Light: bright, indirect light. insufficient light could lead to low variegation or browning on the variegated areas.
Humidity:Â ideally 60%-80%
