Description
The female parent, N. veitchii x lowii, is a remarkable robust plant, which produces huge pitchers which have been known to caught small rats, probably because they exude copious amounts of nectar from the underside of their lids. As all the component species are large, this cross will also produce exceptionally large pitchers. Another interesting point is that we are already seeing nectar exudate, even on juvenile plants and if you look carefully, you can see this in the photos here.
