Nepenthes veitchii BE-4087

Description

The female parent is the Bario form of N. veitchii, which is a highland variety and this particular parent has a green pitcher body with rust red peristome. The male parent is the Sungai Samba form of the species, which is a lowland variety and this particular parent also has a green pitcher body with rust red peristome.

This is the first time BE has crossed a highland form of N. veitchii with a lowland form. BE created this item because they expect these plants to be more temperature tolerant then either parent forms and therefore we have classified it as ‘intermediate’.

Growing condition

Type: Intermediate

Water: rain water, distilled water or RO water, tap water in some regions

Light: bright, indirect light

Humidity: High humidity preferred
