Nepenthes spathulata x ampullaria BE-4073

Description

The female parent is a seed-raised N. spathulata. The male parent is a selected clone (formerly CR-22) of N. ampullaria 'Brunei Red'.

Vigorous and easy to grow, this is a distinctive and lovely plant for beginners and experienced growers alike. It’s expected that it will probably form basal rosettes if pruned back, in the manner of N. ampullaria. Being a highland – lowland cross, it’s highly temperature tolerant and can be grown in a wide range of conditions.

Type: Intermediate

Water: rain water, distilled water or RO water, tap water in some regions

Light: bright, indirect light

Humidity: High humidity preferred
