Drosera occidentalis is one of the smallest sundew species in the world, native to Western Australia. It forms tiny rosettes, often less than 1.5 cm across, with short, round leaves edged by glistening mucilage-tipped tentacles. Despite its minute size, it is an efficient insect trapper and thrives in seasonally wet, sandy habitats. Its delicate appearance and rarity make it a fascinating but challenging plant to cultivate.
