Description
Dionaea muscipula “Candy Cane” is an upright plant created by Diflora. It’s the new name for Dionaea muscipula Bas #2, a cross between GJ Basmati x open-pollinated seedling #2. Very similar to its sibling Bullseye, but distinguishes itself with the reddish-orange coloration inside the traps. The traps are often upright, curved, and very thick, with a wavy and irregular edge like the teeth that are barely formed, stubby, if not absent. It’s lacking triggers. A unique plant in its forms and colors, rare and not to be missed for enthusiasts!
Please note: the main photo is of a mature plant. The trap characteristics and colouration will depend on the plant maturity and lighting.
